Hello, world.  It's Beth again, just giving you the day's highlights.  We've showered and been here, and that's about it for activities.  The Job Connection is closed on Fridays, so that's out, and we aren't exactly over-full on gasoline so we're staying put.   The good news: Drake's wallet has been turned in to the police in the town where we lost it.   The bad news:  We cannot afford to travel that far.  Darn it, darn it to the deepest parts of Phil's domain.  So, now we are trying to scrounge up the gas to get out there, because it's still cheaper than replacing the contents of the wallet.  My car is still in impound, and I'm sure that *&^%#@! that towed it is just thrilled with himself.  I'll tell him to go visit Phil next time I talk to him.  A friend of Drake's in town made a suggestion that I go to a local cell company for a job, and I'll be hitting that as soon as I can get my stuff together to do so.  Lemme see if the Drakester has anything to say.......
